What temperature was the food when you lot discovered the door was open? If information technology was nevertheless cool, you are probably okay. Even if the stuff on the door was room temp, if the stuff in the back (by where the cool air comes in) was absurd, that stuff tin probably stay. I'd throw out any raw meat or lunch meat that may have gotten higher up 40 degrees for any length of fourth dimension, simply nearly things in the fridge are probably okay. Just my opinion though....

You practise need to refrigerate commercially prepared eggs. If they are farm fresh and haven't been washed, they can remain at room temperature just the egg processing plants wash the natural protective coating off the eggshells.

You don't have to refrigerate eggs if they have never been refrigerated. I get mine from the farm and they never become in the refrigerator.
Just once eggs are refrigerated, they can not be left at room temperature

I personally would not throw all of the food away. How warm was information technology really inside the refrigerator. Even though the door was open up it was nonetheless trying to keep things cold. I gauge you would have to estimate by how warm the things felt when you discovered the problem. Think about things that are very touchy and maybe discard those.

The grocery stores do this all the time. They have refrigerator & Freezer bins that have no doors on them and yet the nutrient stays perfectly safe. At that place is probably going to surge in your electric pecker for that time frame, simply I don't see a problem w/ your food being safe.

Buy an inexpensive fridge / freezer thermometer & use them. It is worth the peace of mind. Too will alert you if there is a problem due west/ your appliances not maintaining the proper temperatures.
Adept location for them is somewhere in the middle of the refrigerator or on peak of something in the freezer where y'all can easily meet it. Useful for refrig, freezer & chest/upright freezers.

Thank YOU ALL! I really thank you for the time you
took to transport me your advice. I threw out milk, eggs,
bacon, and mayo, salsa.
Stuff that was almost gone in the front end doors went
to trash bin.
Thankfully I had not put whatsoever meat to defrost in there.
